5 Step Pitch System = Attract More Clients

Typically the first question people ask you when they meet you is “What do you do for a living?”

It is important to lead with a great professional pitch that is unique and gains you and your brand more Impact + Influence + Visibility so you can attract more clients.

I developed the 5 Step Pitch System for my
No.113 Branding clients and now I want to share the system with all of you. I incorporated the techniques and tools I learned while working in the Hollywood entertainment industry for 15+ years. We have a very unique and dynamic way that we "pitch" in Hollywood that gets big results.

And I know that developing a unique professional pitch for you and your brand can be challenging. So I developed this unique 5 Step Pitch System:

Step #1: Clearly define your professional business title.
For example: “I am a Brand Strategist, Social Media Influencer and Speaker.”

Step #2: Include dynamic highlights about your past professional experience and then include your current business, talents and services.

For example: “I worked in the Hollywood entertainment business for more than fifteen years for top companies like The Walt Disney Company and Sony Pictures. I integrate both the creative and business sides of the entertainment industry with my branding expertise. and I deliver a customized 5 Star Brand Strategy System to my clients.

Step #3: Describe the ultimate results that you offer to your target market.

For example: "I am committed to helping women entrepreneurs around the world leverage their unique brand in life and business to gain greater Impact, Influence and Visibility to achieve higher levels of success for their brand."

Step #4: Combine steps 1-3.

For example: “I am a Professional Brand Strategist, Social Media Influencer and Speaker. I worked in the Hollywood entertainment business
for more than fifteen years for top companies like The Walt Disney Company and Sony Pictures. I integrate both the creative and business sides of the entertainment industry with my branding expertise and deliver a customized 5 Star Brand Strategy System. I am committed to helping women entrepreneurs around the world leverage their unique brand in life and business to gain greater Impact, !nfluence and Visibility to achieve higher levels of success for their brand."

Step #5: Memorize and rehearse your professional pitch often.

·       Have a friend videotape you and critique the video together.
·       Rehearse in the mirror and be aware of your facial expressions.

"I am committed to helping women entrepreneurs around the world leverage their unique brand in life and business to gain clarity and impact, to grow community and influence, to gain recognition and VISIBILITY for them and their brand."

3 Brand Strategy Tips For A Successful On-Camera Appearance

In today’s increasingly technological world, knowing how to make your dynamic qualities shine on camera is essential. Whether you are recording an on-camera interview for a nationally televised show or you are taping a video drip campaign that will go out to your clients, it important for you to learn professional techniques for letting your light shine just as bright as the stars in Hollywood.

To help you take center stage with your next on-camera project, here are
3 Brand Strategy Tips for a successful on-camera appearance.

Brand Strategy Tip #1. Be Prepared

Being prepared for your interview will help you to project your natural confidence on-screen. If possible, ask for a list of questions beforehand so that you can practice your responses. By anticipating the types of questions you may receive, you can practice your answers in the mirror. This will help you to respond quickly to questions and establish yourself as an authority on the subject matter.

Brand Strategy Tip #2. Make Eye Contact

As with any conversation, eye contact is important for establishing a personal connection with your audience. When speaking directly to a viewer through media such as Skype, be sure to look directly at the camera. If you are having a recorded face-to-face interview, then focus on making eye contact with your interviewer.

Brand Strategy Tip #3. Do Your Research

Always find out as much as possible about the person conducting your interview. Be sure to watch a few episodes of previously aired shows and make notes on your interviewer’s personal style. This will help you to respond appropriately and avoid being caught off-guard by strange quirks.

Say YES to Your Brand Hollywood Style

Early in my career I was a script development girl. In other words I would read endless scripts daily looking for great material that my boss a Hollywood Movie Producer would be interested in producing.

He offered me an opportunity to attend the Cannes Film Festival held in Cannes France with him so we could look for upcoming talent and potential projects. The Cannes Film Festival is the largest and most glamorous festival in the world. This was a big opportunity and I said YES.
When we arrived in Cannes he informed me that I would be on my own during the day and I was to attend the buyer and sales film convention to look for potential projects and make connections. We would only meet at night for dinner and I would be expected to download him on the potential projects and connections that I made. I felt as if I had been thrown into the deep end of the pool.
I summoned up my courage and I attended the buyer and sales film convention alone. Thankfully the company I worked for had a growing “buzz” in Europe so as soon as I started introducing myself around the convention center buyers and sellers started offering me invitations to attend fabulous parties and movie screenings.

One well-known buyer offered me an opportunity to accompany him to film screenings that only VIP’s were allowed to attend. This was a big opportunity and I said YES. He picked me up at my hotel on a red Vespa. I jumped on the back and off we went zipping through the streets of Cannes.
He introduced me to a young movie producer from LA and we became fast friends. This young producer invited me to come and meet him in the morning at his hotel for breakfast. I invited my boss to attend and he informed me that this opportunity was too small and said NO.

The following morning I handed the cab driver the address and $60.00 later I arrive at the Hotel du Cap. The Hotel du Cap is one of the most famous hotels in the world located on the French Riviera. When I saw my boss that evening for dinner he was floored by my experience.

After returning to LA this young movie producer invited me to his incredible home in Santa Monica for a dinner party. It turns out that he was a super connector. The next day when I arrived at the office and told my boss about this grand dinner party and all the influential people that I was introduced to, he regretted his decision of saying NO in Cannes.

As an entrepreneur you might always be looking for that big break or big opportunity for you and your brand. But I encourage you to say YES even if you think the opportunity might look small BIG things can come out of it.
